Awards for both MSci students Daniel and Harriet

The two MSci students in the group this year, Daniel Murchie and Harriet Porter, both won prizes for their work in the Pilgrim group this year during their MSci project.


Daniel Murchie won the Addison Medal and Prize which is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate (with a particularly good performance in Inorganic Chemistry) in the final year of the MSci degree course in Chemistry. Harriet Porter won one fo the The King Memorial Medals and Prizes which

were founded in 1984 in memory of Professor T J King, formerly Head of the Department of Chemistry and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of The University of Nottingham. This prize is for excellent practical work in the final year.


They were presented at the recent School of Chemistry prize winner event at Graduation day.
