Ben mentors UK Team to success at International Chemistry Olympiad
Ben was recently the Head Mentor for the UK Chemistry Olympiad Team at the 52nd International Chemistry Olympiad. Originally meant to take place in Turkey, the Coronavirus pandemic meant that this competition was held remotely for the first time. The UK achieved one of its best ever results, winning one gold medal and three silver medals. As Head Mentor of the Team, Ben coordinates the training of the team and their selection through the UK national rounds as part of the RSC Chemistry Olympiad Working Group.
The success was covered on the RSC website (link), where Ben gave some thoughts on the success.
